Top 100 Book Challenge

Below you can down load the Reading Challenge Booklets. In the library, there are three sets of shelves. These are the Top 100 books for each phase in school.

Bronze for Year 1 and Year 2; Silver for Years 3 and 4; Gold for Years 5 and 6.

I have challenged the children to read all of the 100 books over a two year period. They are welcome to choose a book off the shelf for their age range, read it and then get it signed by a parent to show that they have read it. If they have read it before, then they can read it again, purely for enjoyment. Don’t forget-you can always send in a selfie of your child reading one of our books. Over the remainder of the term, we will be holding some ‘book tastings’ so you can come into school and look at some of the new books that are on offer. Each child that achieves the challenge will get a special key-ring to hang on their book bag to celebrate their achievement. You are more than welcome to pop in after school each day to choose a book with your child.
